City bans production, transport, storage and use of illegal firecrackers

 

The HCM City government issued a decision banning the manufacturing, transport, trade, storage and use of illegal firecrackers in the city.

 

Competent agencies including the city�s Police, the Customs Bureau, the Military Headquarters, the Border Guards Headquarters, the Market Monitoring Sub-Bureau and district authorities have been assigned to tighten management at gateways, transport means and other places to prevent the manufacturing, transport, trade, storage and use of illegal firecrackers, discover violators and impose strict sanctions.

 

The HCM City Fatherland Front Committee, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League, the Women�s Union, the Labor Federation, the Farmers� Association, the War Veterans Association, the Department of Education and Training, the universities and vocational schools in collaboration with the city�s Television and Radio will publicize the ban to the people, especially youths and students.

 

Leaders of districts and agencies will be responsible if local people violate the ban.

 

HCM City Police and the Department of Trade will supervise the implementation of the ban into practice and report to the city government.
