From September 30, all 24 districts in HCM City must stop collecting all fees that are not on the list of fees issued by the Government, the municipal Peoples Committee said.

After this day, if any district still collects fees that are not approved by law, its leaders will be responsible to the city government.

District authorities are asked to publicize information on the types of fees, contributions and paid services approved by law, on the collection, management and use of money contributed by people and strengthen supervision on this issue.

The Chairman of Hoc Mon District Peoples Committee must stop collecting money for infrastructure development from local people when they apply for land use rights transfer, and land and house-related procedures.

The Chairman of Binh Thanh District Peoples Committee must stop charging fees from private garbage collectors in Ward 15, and hand over proceeds from auctioning the parking lots at condominiums to the condominiums management units, and announce regulations on the management and use of apartment buildings in Ward 3.
