Districts asked to stop collecting all illegal fees on September
From September 30, all 24 districts in HCM City must stop
collecting all fees that are not on the list of fees issued by the Government,
the municipal People�s Committee said.
After this day, if any district still collects fees that are not
approved by law, its leaders will be responsible to the city government.
District authorities are asked to publicize information on the
types of fees, contributions and paid services approved by law, on the
collection, management and use of money contributed by people and strengthen
supervision on this issue.
The Chairman of Hoc Mon District People�s Committee must stop
collecting money for infrastructure development from local people when they
apply for land use rights transfer, and land and house-related procedures.
The Chairman of Binh Thanh District People�s Committee must stop
charging fees from private garbage collectors in Ward 15, and hand over proceeds
from auctioning the parking lots at condominiums to the condominiums� management
units, and announce regulations on the management and use of apartment buildings
in Ward 3.
