U.S. country band tours Vietnam
The American country western music duo Bob and
Tucker Livingston will perform in Vietnam from January 2-14, 2008.
The duo will perform at the HCM City Youth
Cultural House in HCM City on January 4, in the southern coastal city of Vung Tau
on January 5. The group will move on to Hanoi for a January 10 concert at the My
Dinh Stadium, a January 11 concert in the northern Thai Nguyen City and a
January 12 performance in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
The duo will also conduct master classes for
students of the HCM City and Hanoi Conservatories of Music.
Tickets for the concerts in HCM City, Vung Tau,
in Thai Nguyen and Ha Long are provided free.

The father and son duo, made up of Bob
Livingston and his son Tucker, has toured the U.S. and performed in Asia,
Africa, and the Middle East on grants from the U.S. Government. A founding
member of the acclaimed Texas group The Lost Gonzo Band, Bob Livingston released
an acclaimed solo album, Mahatma Gandhi & Sitting Bull, in 2004. The
Austin-American Statesman chose it as one of the top-ten records of the
year. Singer and songwriter Tucker Livingston has been a featured artist at the
famous Austin City Limits Music Festival, the Kerrville Folk Festival, and on
Voice of America.
