The market yesterday bounced back after tumbling for three sessions in a row,
increasing 13.16 points to reach 747.82. Up to 43 stocks went up while 30 others
fell in a session when trade also increased by 0.8 million shares to 6.8 million
shares worth VND624.5 billion, up VND133.5 billion on Monday.
FPT led the market with the trading value of VND138 billion, followed by PVD
with VND49 billion, and VNM with VND45 billion.
Foreign investors spent VND148 billion, 4.2 times on Monday, to buy 875,590
shares. They sold 1.4 million shares worth VND124 billion, a fall of VND26
billion against the previous session.
The HCMC bourse yesterday had four more corporations listed, raising the stocks
on bourse to 92, including two funds. They were Hang Xanh Car Service JSC (HAX)
debuting at VND35,000, Hoa Binh
Rubber JSC (HRC) at VND142,000, Tuong An Vegetable Oil JSC (TAC) at VND75,000,
and Thu Duc Commercial Import-Export JSC (TMC) at VND60,000.
